TPLO Client education model
One of the most commonly performed orthopaedic procedures in small animal surgery can still be difficult for owners to fully understand. The TPLO Client Education Model was designed to make that conversation clearer, more visual, and far easier to explain in consult.
Original tibia model
The original Tibia is designed to help clients understand the preoperative tibial anatomy and the starting point of the procedure. It features a staple that maintains the native shape of the tibia, allowing the model to clearly demonstrate the anatomy before the osteotomy and rotation are performed. This provides a useful visual reference when explaining why surgery is needed and what part of the bone is being changed.
TPLO model
The post-TPLO model is designed to demonstrate the tibia after rotation and stabilisation. It features a plate applied to the proximal and distal segment to show how the corrected position is maintained following the procedure. This helps clients visualise the mechanical goal of TPLO surgery and better understand the role of the implant in supporting the bone after the osteotomy.
